NAFTA, NAU, and The Amero.

Before I dive into this post let me give a brief synopsis of what we are going to talk about today. The NAU is the North American Union, which some people believe is what will ultimately become of the USA, Canada, and Mexico. This is very similar to the EU, or European Union. From this NAU we are, again supposedly, going to have a new monetary system called the Amero. Once again this is similar to the EU and the Euro. NAFTA is the North American Free Trade Agreement, and is an agreement for free trade of goods between the 3 countries.

I am going to argue both sides of this issue in hopes that you will do your own research, develop your own opinion and maybe have a few healthy debates with close and awesome friends! (Love you Liz and Armando!!)

There are a lot of people out there who believe that the elite in our country are working together to form a one world government, or NWO. This has already begun, in their minds, with the formation of the European Union. Now soon there is suppose to be an Asian Union, African Union and North American Union. This is the beginning of joining the 4 Unions into 1 NWO. Many believe that the elite in this country have been working on this for over 60 years. When I say the elite I am referring to the Rockefellers, Clintons, Bushes, and even supposedly McCains and Obamas. Now as a Christian I do believe that eventually this will happen, because a one world government is prophesied in the book of Revelation. However some of the things that these people believe in are very far fetched. In theory, the Amero is going to be the currency that joins the US, Canada, and Mexico. I really have a problem with this because to me it doesn’t make a lot of sense. Now the Canadian dollar and US dollar are virtually equivalent in value, however 10 pesos equal 1 dollar. If we are going to have one currency for all 3 countries, all 3 countries need to be equally stable economically. Mexico is not in a stable economic position. The European Union consists of 27 countries, however only 13 of them use the Euro. The reason? Only 13 of those countries are economically equal. In other words, if countries’ economies do not have similar rates of inflation and are not in a similar position in the economic cycle, they cannot be allowed to join. This is because monetary policy for the Euro has to be controlled centrally or the currency would have different values in different countries, but as a result countries will have no control over their own bank base rate. So, if your country is experiencing serious inflation while all others are having no problems, monetary policy cannot come to your country’s aid, and inflation could become uncontrollable, especially when countries’ fiscal policy is also tied down so harshly. The Amero would possibly work for the US and Canada, but Mexico is behind economically. We can not have this kind of system with a weak link. Also a North American Union would more than likely consist of more than 3 countries. It would more than likely consist of over 20 countries with the majority of those being small islands or US Territories. One currency would not work given the economic situations between those countries.

I could continue to go on and on with a lot of these issues, but quite frankly my fingers hurt and I think I have developed carpal tunnel with this post. Go to youtube, google, yahoo, whatever! Type in NAFTA, AMERO, NAU, SPP, and Ron Paul ( I hate this guy by the way) Then do research and figure out what you believe in. My honest opinion is whatever you chose to believe just remember one thing. The book of revelation predicts that this kind of thing will happen in the coming days of Christ. Do I believe it will happen the way others do? No. Is that bad? No. The bible teaches us a lot, and one of the things it teaches is not to WORRY. This will happen…..eventually. So if its going to happen, is there really anything we can do about it?
