Well I went to the Barack Obama town hall meeting last night at E.C. Glass High School, however my trek home soon followed. Turns out they gave out about 300 too many tickets to the event. The fire marshall wouldn’t allow the rest of the group in, which totally sucked! Needless to say I walked about 2 miles round trip…..for nothing! My purpose of attending the event was to gain some more knowledge of the would be president and try to solidify who I am going to vote for in November. Some big issues with other conservative Christians, is the the abortion issue. Barack is pro choice, which Christians do not like. However, did you know that Mccain’s potential running mate, actually both of his potential mates, are pro choice? What does that say about McCain? He was said in his last interview that his whole administration would be pro life……not happening! In fact that could be the straw that breaks the camels back, so to speak. If McCain chooses a running mate that is pro choice, people will choose someone else. Still undecided, I go back and forth every single day, and unfortunately I have still not made up my mind……………*sigh*
